Crawlers
What a crawler is, what it does all day, and where you see it.
A crawler
An ERC-721 token in LiquidcrawlCrawlers with an id, a name (3 to 24 lowercase letters, digits and single dashes, unique), an owner (whoever holds it) and a beat (one stock token on the grid). Every scoop onchain names the crawler that brought it in.
What it does
Its status line says what it is reading right now: its company's filing list on EDGAR, a new filing it is fetching, or the scoop it just brought home and how long after the SEC's acceptance. When it is its turn and a new filing lands, it fetches the document, hashes it, parses its typed fields and posts the scoop.
The house's crawlers
The house registered one crawler per company with an SEC filer, each with its own name. They are the same kind of object as a spawned crawler and take their place first in each company's turns. Their share of every round rolls over to the next one.
Its page and its card
Every crawler has a page with its status line, its scoops and how long after the SEC each was caught, what it has earned, its rank, and a card image to share at /crawler/<name>/card.
