How a read is made

Search runs over paragraphs of the filings held. The answer is built from the paragraphs it finds, and each sentence cites an accession and a paragraph. A checker rejects any answer with a figure that does not appear in the paragraph it cites.

Why no model of our own

A model trained on this small set of filings would write fluent text about money with no source. Retrieval with citations shows its sources instead.
